Fightstar - Paint Your Target. This will never grow old. It's the first Fightstar song I heard during their early days & I have a strong mental association of these two. When I drive alone I like to play this REAL loud. And when I happen to stop at traffic lights and get caught singing along to it by other drivers/motorcyclists, they give me weird looks. AWKWARDDD. "You can burn it all, rally around the table if you want to, just to argue out the last scenes of us. You can end it all, I'm sorry enough to tell you that I'm okay and I'm never gonna see you again."

AH, I have not been writing! Been k-k-kinda busy living life (read: do nothing all day) that I am now only beginning to appreciate it now that my time is almost up. ..No, I am not about to die, biatch. I'm flattered that you, you, you and YOU have been coming back & checking, though. Here, VIRTUAL THUMB HUGZ! I've also surprisingly been receiving a lot of hits than expected for my Danbo post. It's almost infuriating to know that the majority of your hits come from random Googlers hoping to just right click & 'Save image as'. Tsk! But I reckon it can't be helped, Danbo is just too cute, innit? So, yea. :/ Selamat berpuasa + beribadat. Happy July + August. And ROCK 'N ROLL. Also, the U.S Open starts this month. Cmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! \o/

Teatime in the garden today. I'm a klutz, look at the mess and the mismatched sets. Book + box of MAQUI'S mini cakes + cuppa coffee = the way to go. Oh and yes, that is the very 'uncool' copy of 'Breaking Dawn' you spot at the back, I have been trying to finish them. Been delaying since 2008. I'm now at the part where all the vampire covens gather at the Cullen residence - it's getting pretty interesting. I gotta admit, as much as I despise the live action movies, I'm pretty stoked to see how they are gonna interpret the last book visually. It's genuinely interesting. A feast of the eyes to supplement your imagination is always exciting, but when you start checking whether it is in coherence with what you have already had in mind, that's when problems arise. I have a number of friends who refuse to 'degrade' themselves to read the saga because they think it's too cheesy. Now listen,'Twilight' is heavily inspired by the classics, so you gotta cut it some slacks and NOT expect it to be the conventional or modern kind of love - the ones that supposedly 'make sense'. 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Wuthering Heights', etc are all very, very cheesy & corny, but they still sell, not because they make sense, but because they are the fricken' classics. I can still tolerate that over-corniness of Edward and Bella, I'm just not okay with the actors portraying them. In general, like the book, hate the movies, but still totally watch 'em. I think the only actor that really suits the character in the movie is Peter Facinelli as Carlisle. And maybe Esme. I'm okay with the Jacob & Emmet they have too. Blergh, I dunno. I'm just not okay at all with that Stewart and that Pattinson. Too stiff. Too annoying. HOLLY GUACAMOLI. I don't even know what the crap I'm talking about anymore, so yeah. End of story. I must finish that damn book pronto so I can get going with 'The Hobbit'. Uh, another one to be made into a movie. But I've no worries, I'm a huge Peter Jackson belieber. (Peteiver?) DEAL WITH IT. Interesting how the simple intention of posting a teatime photo turns into a corny Twilight discussion. And I'm only, like, 3 years late into the discussion? Ew, I'm already giving a nasty look at myself, no worries.

Just found these: *snorts. Yeah...story of my life. Though I might've said yes to a few books on the list? "The idea is to take trivial activities, then promote them with posters to give them a sense of importance they ordinarily would not have." / Source

I'm getting used to doing this holiday thing it's kinda scary. I have this permanent schedule, like I wake up at almost the same time every day and eat at a certain time and then read my books, etc. It's like I'm 68 or something!
I find myself no longer attracted to the lures of television. The only things I follow on TV are '2 Days and 1 Night' and 'Let's Go! Dream Team' on KBS, and the stuff they have on Discovery Science cuz they are mostly really, really good. Otherwise I just flip through the channels and watch random shows...like Junior Masterchef.
I'm not particularly into all those Korean entertainment hype (I mean does every group have to have 10 perfect-looking members and dance these days?) but I LOVE '2 Days and 1 Night'. Those guys are whack! And if you've seen 'Let's Go! Dream Team' and were not glued to your telly, what is wrong with you?! Hihi. That Ricky Kim guy should just go die though, he just wins every single time it makes you want to get inside your telly and scream "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" to his face.
While I'm still in the TV ranting mode, it's also been a good season of watching Roland Garros, innit!
In case you're wondering, that was Tsonga about to serve on my TV. XD
I was rooting for Djokovic but GAAAH that semifinal match gave me heart attacks. I was shouting at the TV like some makcik watching an unsatisfying soap opera scene. He was so off in the first two sets and when you thought he finally got it, Federer won. Djokovic was fun to watch though, talking to the sky and whatnot. That was good tennis. I was rooting for Clijsters too but she was out even before I got to watch any of her matches. And the Bryan Bros too. Guess they're better at signing Autograph? But it's good that Nadal won. Federer gives me the Ricky Kim feeling, if you know what I mean. And Li Na, yeahh you go run the world, lady!
Oh, and, happy June.
DAWG!

What's up?! I am having a glass of milk. And that is called, being random. Our FYP result was announced yesterday. I got an A! I got an A!Thank God. Just did some maths, I think I made it into the Dean's List for my last two semesters. But I'm really gutted that my CGPA is still one decimal place shy away from 3.5. I wanna hit the 3.5 mark so bad I wouldn't mind taking my mind off Eiji for a day. One more semester to go, gotta geek it up. Blargggg. Oh oh also, someone viewed my LJ using his PS3 a few days ago. I wonder if it looked okay on your screen. To that person, I am now giving you a mental pat in the back.

Here is the MV for his single 'Down Down Down'. "If people on Earth could just get together again, maybe we could find a place for each other now." Who would have imagined him going from pop boyband to post-hardcore to acoustic folk like this? But he did, and hey, he's good! I absolutely dig his sexy screaming in Fightstar but he's proving he can do another kind of sexy too. Amirah approves! The video is a little odd though, it's like the real MV was mistakenly merged with some random French-inspired movie. I like the 'real' part though. I wish Charlie had donned a little fedora hat, it'd be way cute. Also, if it wasn't for this video I would have never noticed that gap between his two middle teeth. :B
Now 'Down Down Down' is okay but I actually prefer 'Sundown'. So smexy you melt like ice-cream. And ice-cream is good. Download the EP and keep it forever HERE.

I have not been showing love for my LJ for over a month. Should have written down some things that occurred in between the last two post and this post because some major things happened, but I did not, which is a shame. I am done with my FYP and thesis-related things (hurrah) and here I am with my parents in Jakarta. I'm a free (wo)man with more than 4 months of free time to kill and I still can't think of any "realistic" things to do at the moment. I have some very ambitious desires (always, biatch, always) but I suppose they aren't exactly "realistic" so, swoosh, off the window. Let's just leave that to that for the mo. Being home rocks and sucks at the same rate. I basically go to bed somewhere between 3am to 7am on most days (bad). FACT: I sleep so late that I can report that the birds here in Jakarta start chirping at approximately 4am every day. It's so weird but I guess Jakarta birds are much more hardworking than the birds we have back in Malaysia? They're saying Malaysians are a lazy bunch. Newsflash, it's spread to them birds too. Tsk tsk! I really need to do something to fix my bedtime, but it has never worked, so I give up already. Bah~ I've been home for 2 weeks now and I'm getting pretty bored. Gonna find something productive to do pronto. Maybe I'll go to Africa and do some charity works. Or go save the dolphins in Denmark? Fight for justice? Take up painting? Karate? Knitting? World full of possibilities, HERE I GO. XD I hate not having friends around though. A man needs his homies. And I really miss you. :( Last week I went out and had coffee on my own. It was pathetic. But then my mum joined me and we went on a date, nyahaha! Never have a cuppa on your own, if possible. Cups of coffee or tea are supposed to be enjoyed over meaningless chit chats and laughters. Unless when you're having breakfast, of course. Imagine laughing over the news of human trafficking on CNN during breakfast. Eyebags and all. How disrespectful! :x Blargh, I am bored and not tired enough to sleep. In times like this I wonder what Oprah would do. Answer: Oprah would not be in this situation. Aha, Jimmy Kimmel is gold.

huh? :O i would definitely wake him up, no other option. i won't quickly go on to say the L word, that's like embracing your own death by the hands too fast too soon. i'll try to find possible ways to save our asses first. put on our oxygen masks, breathe, make him think of something too. and if all else fails, pray. hope that we'd crash on an island & survive & wait for Jack Sparrow and co to pass by. or find out if Bear Grylls was on the plane, that guy would come in handy.
